The Other Kardashians
![]() |
Kris Jenner |
Let me list down the Kardashian cast.
![]() |
Bruce Jenner |
![]() |
Kourtney Kardashian |
![]() |
Khloe Kardashian |
![]() |
Robert, Mason, The late Robert Kardashian. |
![]() |
Kylie Jenner |
![]() |
Kendall and Kylie Jenner |
These are their profiles:
Kris Jenner (Formerly Kris Kardashian) She got a divorce and remarried.
she is Kim's mom and manager.
Can you sense conflict of interests? Business is business. Family is family. In this case I feel like Kim should stick with her mum.
Bruce Jenner- World Famous Athlete turned Motivational speaker.
Most talked about: his plastic surgery done to his face, he was referenced to Michael Jackson when pictures got out to the public. it was a botch job.
He is the most sane out of the bunch.
Kourtney Kardashian- Oldest sister.
Married to Scott Disick- They have a cute baby- Mason Disick.
She has a thing for bad boys. The most petite of the three sisters.
She has admitted to having plastic surgery around the chest regions.
Lets just say that they are too big for her small frame.
Khloe Kardashian- Younger than Kim.
She is married to Lamar Odom. She had been unlucky in love for the longest time of the few seasons. She married Lamar in 2009 after knowing him for a month.
People love to hate on her, she is the most entertaining out of the sisters. And i have to say that she is my favorite.
The gossip tabloids love to think that Lamar and her are going to get a divorce.
Moving on….
Robert Kardashian- Only boy in the world. The Kardashian World.
He is a privileged young guy. He has the fame, fortune and good looks. He dabbles a bit in modeling. Robert used to date a Cheetah girl- fun trivia of the day. Which cheetah girl do you think it was?
Kendall Jenner- This teen has grown up with cameras in her face 24/7 for the past 4 years. She seems like an OK kid. She got into modeling recently. She attends red carpet events with her sisters on occasion.
Watch out for this one. Not only does she have a fresh face, she has a cute personality too. Can I assume she is going to be the next young big thing in the family?
Kylie Jenner- Just like her big sisters she too is getting into modeling.
Kylie is still a pre-teen. Kind of awkward and shows off and has attitude in front of the camera. She is the one person that really turns me off.
I can't stand it when she has arguments with people in the family- more specifically its not that nice to see her fighting with her parents. If i wanted to watch that i could just mute the TV and open my room door.
Plenty of fights where I live at. Yet I don't need a camera crew filming such an ugly side of my life. The network dramatizes the fights and they create so much tension and strife just to have that content. In actual fact the sensationalize everything to make it seem much bigger than it really is.
To conclude and summarize-
The thing about reality TV is that it captures the good, yet it captures the bad. There are low points in everyones lives. Heck, there are low moments in everyones day when we feel like we just wanna be alone.
This is not an option for the starlets. When they are crying or even taking a shower, they have allowed the camera to film these personal aspects of their lives. And that is a bit 'xiao xiao' i have to admit.
Its no wonder their lives are so dramatic. Could you imagine how much drama you need to create by inviting a camera to film your everyday life. In order to not seem boring, one pretends to have it all together. One pretends to be perfect and rich.
But there is something about these Kardashians that is so relatable. If not relatable, they have the X factor. They are likable and funny, therefore i enjoy keeping up with the Kardashians.
Kim Kardashian. Who is she?
I'm pretty sure you have heard of Kim Kardashian.
If not for the sex tape or her spreads in playboy and every other Hollywood mag.
KIM KARDASHIAN-
model, celebrity, socialite.
She did not start off with fame and tons of money. Kim slowly made a name for herself
This is her
Claim to Fame:
- She used to be Paris Hilton's personal shopper/ wardrobe organizer
- She comes from a rich family- her late father- Robert Kardashian was a well known lawyer
- She got married at a really young age.
- She got divorced a few months later
- A sex tape surfaced on the web. It went viral.
- She has a shapely... ahem…figure. People love to debate about her ass and if it has implants or not.
- She started to get famous as she was photographed by paparazzi on occasions, out about the streets of Hollywood with Paris Hilton.
It seems to be that just anyone could get instant fame if you are seen stepping out of our little Hilton's car.
Fame is fleeting. Yet Kim is not one to be easily forgotten.
The Solution: Create a Reality TV show with your family and pray to God it works out.
Keeping up with the Kardashians started off in 2007.
The show is produced by Ryan Seacreast.
It is obviously very dramatic and sometimes it looks scripted (to me at least).
You never know, with Hollywood being Hollywood.
How much of reality TV is the actual truth. Will the real slim shady please stand up?
How do I know that its not just an act when cameras are around?
The thing is, its necessary for you readers to understand what kind of a person Kim Kardashian is. And what she is not.
Kim is pretty and all, she is uber sexy; but next to Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian she fades into the background.
Kim is boring, not much of a personality or brain. She does not have much intellect.
Just today I watched a rerun and Kim did not know that she is not supposed to feed her stray pup 'human food'.
There I said it. That's just the way I think.
The reason for my blog post is not to highlight Kim only.
She is not the only Kardashian.
I want to remind people that this is a family of talented, young, entertaining individuals whose lives are of such to others. (not just me) They are rather big in the US.

Ke$ha Defends Britney Spears to MTV Canada
Ke-dollar sign-ha
that is seriously how Glee made fun of Ke$ha's funky name.
I love how she is so honest and says whats on her mind without skipping a beat.
You go girl! I love her music. Just admit it people!
She is different and cool and we all wanna be friends like Ke$ha.
To me, her haters are like these people in school who are outcasts and who doesn't have friends.
They are the weird loners who crave attention, because her music is pop and electronic and catchy, i don't understand how she could get so much hate, especially from guys.
I appreciate her dance numbers, but Ke$ha has a soft side too.
'The Harold Song' is rather famous, it gets its air time on MTV.
I love the song 'Stephen'.
In the words of Ke$sha- 'Stephen' why won't you call me.
If you are reading this, Stephen, please call me. I'm sitting here waiting.

Movie Review- World Invasion

World Invasion: Battle Los Angles
The story is simple- A Marine Staff Sergeant who has just had his retirement approved goes back into the line of duty in order to assist a 2nd Lieutenant and his platoon as they fight to reclaim the city of Los Angeles from alien invaders.
With a title like this a few things come to mind. Let me break it down for you.
World invasion- this has to be something I have seen before... Does ‘War of the Worlds’ ring any bells? Not any girl can appreciate story lines about world invasion or battles. The LA scene is another story.
I wouldn’t go as far to say that this is the typical ‘dudes movie’. Gals can dig this kind of genre if they want to. Basically this movie has the usual- guns, bombs and fighter planes. Not to mention the epic scene where a helicopter blows up with your dear friends in it.
With the help from wiki, I found out that this movie has three genres, talk about diverse. It is a military science fiction war film.
It is similar to War of the Worlds from a Marine’s point of view. Minus Tom Cruise and cutesy Dakota.
There are no romantic notions about the world ending. However with a movie like this you would have to make sure that humanity is still in tact. The viewers need and require that happy fairy tale ending or no one would pay a cent to watch the world being invaded by aliens.
Yeah, have I mentioned it yet? This is no spoiler. Watch the trailer and one can see that this is not the Germans or Russians back for round two. These are alien life forms that have descended upon Earth to kill you. And drink our water, seeing as water is such a precious resource.
The themes in the show centre on death and war and loss and fear. The list goes on and on. Personally if you are feeling tired and just wanna chill on a lazy Saturday this will be your perk me up.
You leave the theatre feeling ‘inceptionized’.
Paranoia seems to seep into my soul and I think that the person next to me may be an alien waiting for the perfect opportunity to blow my brains up with his laser gun.
The selling point for me in this action packed show was the cast. Specifically, Aaron Eckhart. He is such a heartthrob. His chiseled good looks fill up the screen in each frame. Ladies you have to admit that he is hawwwt!
Of course there is always that cliché in the form of a hot girl that works along side the guys like she’s such a macho and unfeeling gal. Michelle Rodriguez plays that role effortlessly. Known famously in movies like The Fast and Furious and the most recent, Avatar.
Guns, machine or not, bazookas, grenades… Just because I know how to spell bazooka does not make me a dude. I do have to say that this show brought out my inner guy. I thoroughly enjoyed watching things being blown up- even people being blown up. I’m not known to be this sadistic.
One of my favorite scenes was when they hacked up this alien enemy. It was rather fascinating to see how they envisioned what an alien’s anatomy would look like.
As much as the show kept me on the edge of my seat, I have to applaud the director for doing such a great job with the camera. There were really impressive camera angles and techniques used in the film that made it visually interesting. It appealed to the different senses apart from the smell of the theatre- popcorn and sweat with a hint of the fries that I ‘da-pao’ in. What to do? Such is the smell of a movie theater in humid Singapore.
The story line was far fetched, how in the universe could this happen? Even though I still give it 3 out of 5 stars. Go and see it with your mates. You have my approval.

Fake Bitches
Yeah you heard me right... you read it right..
I cannot stand fake ass bitches..
Honestly i understand now why everyone need a guy friend
someone to just say it to your face and who does not give two cents about considering that the truth hurts.
Fake bitches are so annoying.
Fake bitches are so emo
Fake bitches are like me.
Yeah. I admit i'm a fake bitch to certain colleagues and acquaintances.
Thats cos i want them to keep a distance.
Seriously if i wanted to be your friend i would be show it.
I would be a friend to you.
It would be pretty obvious that i can click with you and therefore see you as a friend.
If i wanted your friendship i would make it a point to be nice to you and therefore not a fake bitch.
You see me looking at you with my cold stare and inside i'm saying get off my dick, bitch.
You wanna talk about me behind my back i say to you: tell it to my face
You wanna compliment me on my looks: don't bother i have a mirror at home
You wanna bitch about me to my boss: go ahead. the boss doesnt even like you
Snitch.
Thats the word for you.
Keep your personal commentary to yourself
I cant help it if youre jealous of me.
I know who my friends are at work.
Dont need you.
You can hate on me all you want.
Peace out.
Just needed to rant.
I think i pretty much covered all that i needed to get off my chest.

My second long day
This has to stop... long days!
I enjoy the activity and all. But i need to stay at home and emo by myself.
I need to not be traveling in a packed bus/mrt.
I woke up at 9am for work.
Work was interesting.
I was ushering.
I HATE USHERING
i hate it very, so very much.
It is the most boring and annoying job in Shaw.
My boss kept giving me looks when he caught me talking to my friend during work.
I got a headache halfway. I felt dizzy. Like i was about to puke.
After some oil i was ok.
Then i got so perky all of a sudden.
I guess i was high on caffeine and i wanted to make the best out of my situation.
I got talking to Farhan, this guy who works in premiere screen.
I was so animatedly gushing about the oscars and movies.
We ended up talking for 20 mins.
I watched Just go with it, again with him, after my shift.
After that i rushed back home.
I took the bus 22 to tampines
The ride was sooo long. I can't even say.
I was so frustrated.
I went shopping with my aunty.
And she gave me $50.
I'm so blessed.
I got two tops.
I love my tops. Haha
I wanted to get a $39 pair of jeans from Dorothy Perkins, but i didnt wanna splurge.
I don't really need jeans.
I want them.
I'm gonna get them tmr ;)

Kelly Bell

Why don't you ever call?
My very long day
Woke up at 12. Saw myself in the mirror so i,
Felt fat, so i jumped on the trampoline for a minute.
My mum was gabbing away on the phone. Which is rare for her. She hardly calls up a friend and chats away, so i am still groggy and she's yakking away. She waves with her hand at a bowl of spinach.
I am pretty smart, and by that gesture i know that she wants me to help her cook.
I choose to ignore her hand motions. I felt so annoyed at that moment. The irritation just swelled within me.
Am i a maid?
Ok, i understand if you need help. I can be willing to help out.
But its the fact that she just flicks her hand at me and expects me to snap to it and cook her meal.
I am a obedient child so i hop to it and cook.
I kind of don't keep track of the time.
I eat my lunch and go on my mac.
So i have to take a cab for the second day in a row. I arrive at the canon digital lab on time.
A free 2 hour lesson on how to use my DSLR.
I really understand my camera much better now.
After that i went to watch no strings attached.
It's one of those feel good movies that does not require much intellectual stimulation of you.
I WANT A BOYFRIEND LIKE ASHTON KUTCHER!
ok, moving on.
I then rush to go to the national library.
I attended the Digital Storytelling workshop.
I'm so proud of Aunty Angel and Aunty Au.
They certainly have come a long way.
The session inspired me to do a short digital story.
Whether i actually get to do it is another story.
I ate a chocolate tart.
Then we went to KFC.
Jeremy and Jing were there too!
It was like the old times. When i was homeschooling.
I took mrt then a bus back home.
I was only able to sleep at 5am.
Damn you pepsi and your caffeine.

Bright Lights
For those of you who don't know. I was homeschooled during my sec school years.
And i have this group of homeschool friends. Its a christian thing. Called Bright Lights.
Ever since poly started I was not able to go for bright lights.
Which is weird because I used to go all the time for years.
I made really good friends with the dears there.
Elizabeth, Abigail, Kyriana, Danielle, Naomi and D'ette.
It always makes my day hanging out with this bunch.
Somehow they find me funny and I always laugh too much and talk to much when i'm around them.
Todays session was on gratefulness.
I have a lot to be grateful for. The money that came in for my Guam trip for example.
Having a place in DTVM at SP.
My family and friends. And the fact that i have money in my wallet and a roof over my head.
I miss going for bright lights.
I will make it a point to drop by once a month. Hopefully my monday afternoons will be free when school starts again.
I cabbed down to the place where we met for today. And i made it in time :)
Let me refer to my notes..
The gist of being grateful is that we need that attitude in order to please God.
I think most people understand the concept of gratefulness.
The other way of seeing it is, what is the thing that keeps one from being grateful?
The answer would be pride or un-forgiveness.
Ok.. moving on to less serious matters. I chatted with Danielle and Elizabeth.
And i made a new friend!
I always like to make new friends.
Dinner was yummy. I had three cups of chili and two sausage roll things.
They were nice ok abigail! I didnt mean to diss the biscuit. Hahaha
I like food. Ok bye

March
Today is the first day of march.
I ask myself, how did i miss the bells?
We Singaporean's by now know that on the first day of the month, at 12 pm we hear bells all over Singapore.
Today, i was still sleeping then.
It would normally wake me up. But I was totally out of it.
I have to say i love those bells, they sound like a fresh start and a new beginning. Hence, the new month.
Today i bummed around, watched lots of TV and movies.
I also cooked and cleaned. Like a housewife.
I cleaned up my closet and am in the process of cleaning up with table.
Its full of unnecessary junk.
I have to get back to making my table tidy.

127 Hours.
One word sums up the movie- Gore.
No words can truly express how gory it was watching James Franco try to saw off his own arm.
The premise of this movie is this,
Aron, played by Franco is an adventure junkie. He hikes and climbs regularly.
He meets two young ladies on his hike. They play around in the water in some cave at the bottom of the canyon.
The next moment he is by himself, he is all gung ho, leaping around and climbing in cracks.
He slips and falls and down comes crashing this huge boulder and it traps his right hand.
He spends the next 127 hours trying to escape.
I give credit to James Franco, his acting was very believable, he portrayed pain, anguish and desperation very realistically. It was not acting, it was very good acting! I could feel the pain and empathize with his character. And at the end of the day that's what makes a performance excellent. Making the audience like you and go along the journey with you.
Everyone in the audience was rooting for him to snap his hand off and escape.
I read a few online comments so i knew how it was going to end. Its a happy story and a real one at that.
This movie is based on actual real life events.
The amount of will power and resilience is so tremendous. One needs a lot of courage to last for 5 days.
Imagine being all alone, trapped and in so much pain.
Not much food or water. Not just anyone will be able to survive such an ordeal.
If you don't mind blood I suggest you watch this movie. Directed by Danny Boyle, who did Slumdog Millionaire.
I loved the cinematic experience, the way the camera shot some scenes was very interesting and original.
They took a shot from the base of the transparent water bottle, through the water and showed Franco's face. There were also shots of him drinking his urine, they filmed yellow liquid traveling up one of those 'suck-out-of-the-pipe-connected-to-your-bag-thingys'
A lot of scenes to do with water, like when they were swimming, they filmed underwater shots, the camera was stationary while the actors swim up to the surface.
Its a heart wrenching and emotionally stimulating show.
I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Mike Posner
My new favorite singer!
His voice has a real unique sound to it.
I love the song Bow Chicka Wow Wow. haha.
Please don't go.
Cooler than me.
His voice is so smooth.

Natalie Hiong At Timbre and Esplanade.
A week ago my sister asked me if i wanted to go to Timbre to see her boyfriend play bass.
And i was like heck yea! Drinks and a musical performance, what could be better?
I was with my video production group that day so i asked Shanice and Hana if they wanted to go to Timbre.
So it was settled, we were all gonna go.
Then my sis tells me that she woke up late and won't make it. So we still go ahead. We have to walk a long way from the MRT, i used my iphone map and we reached ok.
We get there and they play for 30 min. Of course its not Shanice's type of music.
She played the bubbly and sweet melodic songs. Where as Shanice is a rocker, heavy metal sort of gal.
She complained about it the whole time.
I ignored her and took shaky videos of the set.
We then order drinks. I get a lime margarita. Ok i have blogged about this already! Why am i saying the same thing??
Ok so the next time i go and see Natalie Hiong is at the Esplanade.
My cousins surprise me! They come and join my and my sis for sushi, totally did not expect them!
It was fun that they came!
Navin, Jeevan, my bro and sis.
I have to say i like her music. She writes all of her songs which is impressive!
Check her out- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ay2ZzfFmhQc
After the performance we go to the makansutra hawker place and eat some more.
I have lots of pictures and videos from both days.

My Birthday.
So I am 18 now.
I feel old.
I am old enough to drive.
I am old enough to drink and smoke.
I am old enough to watch M18 movies.
On my birthday I still had one more paper for my Communication skills for media makers module.
Honestly, it was fine. I just wanted to get it over and done with. I plugged in my music and typed away for about and hour or so.
Then i made an appointment to get my nails done at City Nails in Nex.
And it was freaking expensive! $49 for express mani and a custom pedicure.
Never again! $50 for nails that last me a week before they start to chip and fade.
After my nails dried i went to Tao Payoh to meet up with my classmates.
Kelly was the first to arrive!
I love her!
She was so cute. She hugged me and spun me around till i was dizzy!
Then after that she walked around me in circles singing me happy birthday.
It just so happened that we were standing next to the passport photo machine.
We entered giggling like lil' girls and took a picture :)
That was such fun!
She gave me an awesomely big box of hello panda biscuits, the chocolate ones.
Then deshun came and we walked to Sizzler for dinner!
Michael and Li ling came later on.
I got the fish and chips and lots of salad.
We all ate till we wanted to explode.
After the huge dinner we went to Dhoby Ghaut thinking there would be a karaoke place.
Hold up a sec. How do you pronounce karaoke?? Is it ka-row-kay? Or kare-ee-okie??
LOL.. i dont say it like the Singaporean's do.
Anyway in the end we gave up finding a place and sat outside of SOTA. We talked for a while, and i played some songs and sang all by myself.
I watched three 147 buses pass by.
I then decided to head home like a good little girl. At 11 pm...
My dad called me twice...
For crying out loud, you would think now that i'm 18 i would have an extended curfew.
I came home and poured myself two glasses of wine.
I face got a bit warm and my breath smelled like wine!
I slept and woke up at 10 for church the next day.
No complains, it was an ok birthday. I just wish that it was more fun.

Random Post.
Its been a long time.
Nothing much has happened.
CNY has past and gone by. Hung out with my cousin. She gave me OPI nail polish.. Dulce De Leche :)
Handed in half of my assignments.
I have a video to edit and shoot and two papers to write in the next two weeks.
I can't believe that I have attended a year of school. It's so fast!
I'm going to be year 2 soon.
After the March holidays, and my Guam trip i can call myself a freshie no more. I am a 2nd year student!
I have raised about more than half of the sum i have to get. I recently got $500 from a friend.
Sam, Caleb and I went to India together. This was such an unexpected gift!
I'm so grateful.
Have not been working much, after all I have been focusing on school.
Yesterday I went to Timbre with Shanice and Hana.
It was quite fun, went to see my sister's boyfriend play the bass.
I got a lime margarita. Paid $16 for it... such overpriced crap.
I have been going to Arab Street a lot lately.
As my group is filming the place for out video project- Singapore, A Place of Interest.
I will editing most of today.
Probably going to shoot some more tonight.
Yeah.. thats all i can think about for now.
I got my first A! On writing an essay on globalisation.
Ok bye.

MICHAEL'S GIG
I heard about his gig from deshun, he was the one that invited me first.
So i asked my bro why he never invite me.
Anyway, to cut the long-drama-about nothing-story short.
I went for his gig at outram park.
I rushed back home to dump my laptop and draw some eyeliner.
We then ate at Qi Ji. Their Nasi Lemak rocks!
We then MRT-ed to the place and we met up with mike's band mates and some of his friends.
I have to admit it was awkward.
They were smoking and drinking… Of course i had just taken my panadol as i am sick.
I was sweating profusely. Thank heavens I went home and stocked up on my tissues.
After the introductions, we head up to the jamming studio. It's this tiny place. But it was fully equipped with drum set, amps the whole works.
Rather impressive.
We settle down and i drink this guys cider. I feel bad and thirsty so i head to 7 11 with mike.
I buy his cider, lime tequila and whisky.
Yeah i know, that sounds hard core right… I shared don't worry.
I loved the tequila. Its only 7%. But i still turned pink.
Shanice and i went crazy for a moment or two. We were laughing and joking until she pushed me off the couch.
How epic. I seriously got a slight bit tipsy.
Moving on to less embarrassing moments. The gig started 1 hour late, as expected. The music was awesome! The lead singer not so.
Not to put you down dude, but you kind of ruined RHCP.
Its not like i listen to those Red Hot Chili Peppers, but after how you crooned those songs i doubt i would want more.
If only to hear the original so that i can erase those dreadful melodies you sang.
They played for about 30 mins, And then it was all over too soon.
I bobbed my head and whooped and hollered and danced in my seat with Shan.
I waved my hands in the air like i just didn't care and held up an imaginary lighter.
I'm just glad i never have to see those exact same people ever again.
Mike was awesome! I'm so proud to call him my bro! He looked so cute slapping the bass, he headbanged and jumped and bobbed his head.
He had the most energy out of the other band members.
There was also this cocky cute dude- jon. He was the backup vocalist and lead guitar.
Ok, so he was cute.
Lets just leave it at that.
Mike was about to tell him, and i was so mortified. All this happened over SMS mind you. I told him i was going to beat him up if he did…
I cabbed home with Shanice. Failed attempt to take pics with the iPhone.
Watched a bit of the videos.
You can check youtube in like a weeks time, i think that's how long it will take to upload everything.
Awesomest Gig Ever!

Pretty In Pink
I realized today how much I really like the fashion of the 80's.
Not only did the 80's bring us romantic yet cheesy music, it bestowed upon us the films in which it was ok to spew words like fuck and dick-wad and still be rated PG.
Pretty in pink stars Molly Ringwald and Jon Cryer, you know that man from two and a half men.
The gist of this 96 minute show is that there's this poor and pretty girl.
Thats all you need to know about her.
Then there's this guy who is infatuated with her. He dotes on her and she is so daft to see what a good thing she has in front of her.
Then we have to have a character who is the very opposite. He is the rich- somewhat good looking guy.
They girl and rich guy go out twice and they fall in love. Gee... how nice.
One of my favorite scenes is when Ducky (Jon Cryer) lip synchs and dances his little tushie off just for Andie (Molly Ringwald)
My heart just about melted into my soup that i was eating.
He looked so adorable... with his round sunglasses and perfectly coiffed curly hair.
At the end they go to the prom. Then nothing much happens.
The reason why i'm even blogging about this is to let people know about the injustice of a show like this.
How in the world could you create such cute characters and then not deliver.
Andie is meant to be with Ducky!
Another scene that was epic is when Dickie (tee hee) tells Andie's dad that he wants to marry her... not today. Haha.. Awwww.
I would give this show 2/5 stars.
Watch it for Ducky!
Andie goes off with the dick-wad finally, you just know that he's going to cheat on her eventually.
Andie is supposed to be with Ducky!
Thats all i have to say.

Friends in Class
Kelly
One photo for when she had wild hair... and two with pixie hair!
I love Kelly very much.
Most of our conversations are about annoying each other, but i tell her almost everything.
Class would be so boring without her!
She makes me laugh and she's really very innocent and sweet.
We have the same GPA!
I hope we are still friends after we graduate.
Try!
One of my closest guy friends in class.
We are constantly bitching about people we don't like in class. He's my gossip buddy.
I think i started talking more to him towards the later part of the year.
I remember having a long chat with him in the MRT at paya lebar station.
He is such a smart ass.
I'm so jealous. All our teachers love him. Class rep and overall funny guy!
Both of us watch misfits!
We love speaking in a wonky accent. Its our british/irish/chav accent.
I fookin luv yeaarrr! Hahahaha
Shanice
Eurasian girl... Haha. She so smart and full of life.
Dating Thai boy below. Just started to get to know her better!
She speaks her mind and is such a diva! No one gets crap from her... does that make any sense.. gives her crap... anyway...
Michael
He keeps asking me how do i spell his name, its not like your name is that difficult to spell mike.
People mix up the a and e... i think he gets upset by that.
He's the class clown and always speaks his mind! Very friendly guy.
Second closest guy whom i talk to in class.
Guitar rocker thinks he's so cool.
He's my bro and somehow i'm his bro too.
:)
i love my friends!
i hope they love me too!
Communication Skills For Media Makers
In my diploma course i have to take this module on communication skills.
Basically we learn about pitching a concept, about budgeting a TV production and all that jazz.
I really like my teachers style of teaching and she gives out the most detailed and helpful CA briefs.
For my second continual assessment (CA) we had to pitch and original TV show to a panel of Mediacorp executives. My heart was beating like mad at the beginning.
I took a deep breath and started...
Kelly told me after that i sounded professional which is points for me. YAY:D
However, Try said that it was badly presented and i have to agree.
We did not practice it perfectly!
For pete's sake we were working on the powerpoint on the day itself.
I hate doing things last minute.
The changing of speakers was messed up. I said i will pass the time on to shanice when it should have been michael.
The judges did say that they were not criticizing out concept rather the terms we used.
Want to hear our original idea?
Its a reality show called Border Rehab.
We take delinquent youths out of their comfort zone and put them in countries like Africa and India.
They are supposed to carry out a project and live in the community for one week.
Through the participants entertaining experiences we will see if he can stand one whole week,
without electricity, no phones or TV.
The aim is to see an internal change in the participant.
Will you watch my show?

Guam
I will be going to Guam in march.
Its a mission trip with Campus Crusade.
For three weeks, with no parents or school.
Guam is an island part of US. Its smaller than Singapore. Its next to Philippines.
As a group we will be starting up a campus ministry in the University of Guam.
We also will be doing other projects with the people there.
I hear Guam has pretty beaches. Its a tourist spot.
I'm excited to spend my holidays overseas.
I pray that God will be able to use me to touch the lives of the people there.
I also need $2500 to go there. So i will need to raise the money in 4 weeks.
If you want to help me out, please drop me an email at suyintha@gmail.com
Any contribution is appreciated, be it in prayer or thoughts. $10 would help :D
Will update more as i get more information about the trip.
I should make a packing list.
Will definitely bring my mac and canon cam.
Blogging in Guam is a must. I hope there is internet. Cross my fingers.

Adventures with Dinah
I made a new friend today!
That has to be one of my top 50 favorite things ever... making a new friend :D
So Dinah is from SP. Both of us are in Campus Crusade... Before today i would see her sometimes during meetings and around school, but we won't talk as much.
The funny thing is that we both wanted to go to Aussie for the mission trip and put taiwan as our 2nd option...yet somehow we are now going to Guam.
Guam say what?
Most of you may not know where that is... i will save the explanation for the next post.
So back to the topic... let me describe her.
She has a punk look. And funky hair. Black eyeliner and a beanie. Two mouth piercings...technically its like a chin piercing... haha.. close to the mouth lah.
She is very petite.
So we started talking when we went for the boot camp. And somehow we bonded over complaining about this annoying girl in our group.
Thats not the adventurous part.
While walking to dinner we almost got run over, i kid you not.
We were crossing quite a wide road and i walked out even though there were cars far off further away from us... how was i supposed to know that the cars would start to slow down, we end up stranded on the road, with a truck rumbling towards us. Of course i scream like a girl.
Thats crazy thing that happened numero uno.
We ate dinner at Macs and then as we were walking back to the MRT i saw this flattened reptile like rotting creature on the road... it had its guts and head and bones all smashed up.
That is one thing that i can never unsee!
I'm scarred for life.
It was freaking disgusting.
Then we reach the overhead bridge and Dinah spots this red headed ang moh.
She says so shuang?? haha xuang??
anyway.. cute...
just as she says it,
the cute guy turns around and stares at us.
She giggles and ditches me by running up the stairs.
So i'm in heels and carrying her sleeping bag.
I run up the stairs, clomping in my heels and giggle loudly like a pig.
All the while the red head stares at us rather fascinated by these two girls.
We cross the road and we look over only to find that he is still looking at us.
What an adventure filled day.
Can i borrow $1?Can i borrow $1?Can i borrow $1?
Dinah.. thank you for being my friend!
Can we please bunk together in Guam??
